Con Season has begun . . .

Once again, I will not be able to attend my gaming-convention of choice. The Origins game-convention started yesterday without me.

After we missed last year’s Origins, I vowed that I would not miss another but here we are again this year. 😉

Really, I shouldn’t be complaining; after all, we’re missing the convention because my wife got an awesome tenure-track job in Wisconsin and we’ll be moving out there in about a month. In addition to being just plain awesome (pretty much her dream job, as I understand it), her new job will move us closer to family, old friends, and Indianapolis (Gencon), all of which will be nice too.

I guess it just comes down to how I want to look at the situation. 🙂

I’m not sure when I’ll be able to make it out to either Gencon or Origins, actually. Next summer doesn’t look very hopeful, although I guess Gencon is faint possibility. I guess that’s the place where one meets up with old gaming friends, though?

Yeah, I expect that Cons are where I’m going to end up running into old gaming friends after we’ve moved.

Hopefully, we’ll see you at Origins or Gencon in a couple of years. 😉

Oh, I’m planning on going to some Ambercons too, JP. 🙂
