Playtest Kit

I’m putting together a playtest kit. This kit is specifically intended for playtesting a boardgame that I’ve been working on but most of the bits will be relatively generic and should be useful for other, future designs too.

For those interested, my playtest kit will soon include:

  • Small wooden cubes which I intend to paint or stain different colors
  • Wooden disks
  • Flat wooden squares
  • Wooden plugs, which I believe may approximate barrels
  • Wooden meeples of various sizes

I think this is a good start for my playtest kit. After I’ve had a chance to play around with these bits I’ll have a good idea whether I need more bits and what they might be.
