Everything looks like a demand curve now

So, I’m taking this economics class at the college.

Mostly, I’m taking it because I feel like it would be beneficial to, you know, my brain-meat which, actually, I think it has. Initially, I thought it might give me a different perspective into behavior and lead to some interesting game design benefits. (Yes, that’s right, I even take economics classes because I think they will help me with insights into games and gaming. Weird, huh?)

This, of course, has lead me to use my new brain-tools on everything I run across now.  Price of peanut butter has gone up: how will that effect demand? The new edition of D&D is likely to have fewer initial adopters: this makes WotC’s new G(ame)S(system)L(icense) make much more sense. Etc.

The problem with the new brain-tools is that they are hard to turn off, which is fine while I’m taking the class but if this continues I may not be happy in the long run.

I’m just sayin’ . . .
