Forge Midwest 2009

Saturday Peter and I headed up to Madison for Forge Midwest 2009. It was just for a few hours but we were able to get in a couple of games of In a Wicked Age.

Turn out for this year seemed a little down, which I can’t say is all that surprising. I didn’t take a head-count or anything but considering that only half of the tables had games going at any one time, I’d definitely say that it was a smaller deal this year.

Like I said, we played a couple of games of In a Wicked Age which were amusing. Overall, I’d say they were about as fun as con RPGs I’d played in the past though not quite as engaging.

I’ll probably follow-up with a more in-depth review of In a Wicked Age in the near future.
