Push

We’re watching Push.  It reminds me a lot of the World of Darkness.

There are special people with super-powers hiding in our modern world. Somehow, they are able to hide in our world, completely unnoticed, and they have managed to exist without changing our world in any significant way.

Oh, and there is a super-secret conspiracy. The conspiracy wants to control the special people (of course). Also, they are jerks and some of them have super-powers too.

The main characters are special but their powers are undeveloped. During the course of the movie they’ve significantly improved, usually after a fight or some other kind of conflict. It’s actually kind of amusing how well it maps to a RPG (or it could be that I just see RPG scenarios no matter where I look).

I won’t spoil the movie for you. So far, it’s not bad. Not great, but not bad.

Most awesome superpower in the movie: Ability to make fish explode.
